Love this!

Needs no further comment, ‘cos pictures are worth a thousand words (maybe a million words adjusted for inflation).

Will always reblog Obama with babies.

They can SMELL the evil!

Glass Beach is a protected beach, but not for its natural beauty. Located just outside of Fort Bragg, California it became an illegal dumping ground for residents in the late nineteenth century who lacked any kind of refuse pickup. It wasn’t until 1967 that the illegal dump was finally closed by city leaders and the local water board. The beach was cleaned of large refuse, but small pieces of glass and plastic that had been worn down by the elements remain, giving the beach its name and its unusual beauty.

Treasure! :0

I have always loved beach glass - I would go wild on this beach!

Regarding “war on women” rhetoric and the exclusion of transgender people that comes with terms like that: I get it, yes, the people who want to strip reproductive rights probably do not even acknowledge the existence of transgender people, for the most part. As far as they are…

A network of ultra-conservative groups is ramping up an offensive on multiple fronts to turn the American public against wind farms and Barack Obama’s energy agenda.

A number of rightwing organisations, including Americans for Prosperity, which is funded by the billionaire Koch brothers, are attacking Obama for his support for solar and wind power. The American Legislative Exchange Council (Alec), which also has financial links to the Kochs, has drafted bills to overturn state laws promoting wind energy.

Now a confidential strategy memo seen by the Guardian advises using “subversion” to build a national movement of wind farm protesters.

The Koch brothers have more money than they’ll ever be able to spend in their entire lives, and they are actively trying to destroy efforts to make our planet safer for our children and grandchildren, just so they can have more money.

They are the platonic ideal of evil.

"Fat people who love themselves scare the shit out of people who don’t love themselves. Even fat people who are TRYING to love themselves scare the shit out of people who can’t do the same. We force people to have to look at why they hate their bodies because we are “supposed” to hate ours and we don’t. And sometimes they have no idea what to do with that, so they act like assholes."
